Travelling and Eating like a Local

Old Town Krakow

We have been traveling in Eastern Europe for nearly three weeks already, we went from Hungary to Slovakia and now we are in Torun, Poland. We stayed five days in Krakow and took an 8 hour bus ride to Torun, there’s nothing much to see in Torun aside from the old town, churches and museums. We didn’t spend too long in the botanical garden we headed to the nearby Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls despite we are already soaked in rain, some tourist is already wearing a raincoat, we would like to get one but it is kind of useless anymore because we are already wet.  We crossed the well sculptured bridge and walk to the first waterfall in Cheonjeyeon. Amazing Yeomiji Botanical Garden

The place is busy tourist buses come and go, yeah right most of the tourist comes in groups. We  went inside the indoor botanical garden and find our way along the volume of  people. As much as I want to have many photos taken with the colorful flowers  I can’t get a good spot to strike a pose because most tourists are doing the same and my husband has […]

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum, Jeju

On our second day in Jeju the first place we visited is the Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum. We took the airport limousine from Seogwipo bus stop and get off at Jungmun Resort. It was raining that day so we are lucky that what we need to see is indoor, the building was very colorful and creative creating a happy mood and excitement. Tickets cost ₩8, 000 per person, after buying our ticket, we started looking around and I have enjoyed seeing different collections, items and images of Robert Ripley. Ripley’s “Believe It or Not!” Museum (originally created by Robert Ripley) […]
